Chocolate Dessert Recipes That Kids Can Make.

Chocolate dessert, who doesn’t love it, right! And, it’s a kid’s favourite dessert.

Also, kids like to be involved in the kitchen along with adults and preparing desserts can be easy and fun for them.
Here are recipes of few chocolate desserts which kids can make by themselves with some parental supervision.

Chocolate Dessert Recipes

No-Bake Chocolate Walnut Cake

Ingredients:

Digestive biscuits        800 grams
Sugar                          1 cup
Cocoa powder            ½ cup
Water                          1 cup
Butter                          2/3rd cup
Vanilla essence            1 tsp
Chocolate bar             120 grams
Condensed milk          50 grams
Walnuts as per requirement

Method:

Break biscuits in pieces
Heat a non-stick pan and roast the walnuts.
Pour the walnuts on the biscuits.
Take sugar, cocoa powder, water and butter and boil it for 7-8 minutes on medium heat.
Set aside to cool.
After the mixture cools add vanilla essence and add it to the biscuits. Mix well.
Set it well in a glass bowl.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or 1 hour.
After it sets, melt the chocolate bar and condensed milk into it and mix well.
Pour the mixture on the cake and refrigerate it again for 3 to 4 hours. Garnish it with walnuts.
Now the cake is ready to serve.

Chocolate Cups

Ingredients:

Milk chocolate bar 125 grams
Paper cups 6

Method:

Take good quality paper cups and cut it a bit at the rim.
The chocolate bar should be at room temperature.
Melt the chocolate bar in a microwave for 1 minute but stir it every 30 seconds.
Start pouring the chocolate on the inner sides of the paper cup. Spread evenly on all the sides of the cup. Do it similarly for all the cups.
Refrigerate it for 2-3 hours.
After it is properly set, tear the paper cup from the cut and remove the chocolate cup very carefully.
Once the cups are made, you can fill them as per your choice. It could be filled with fruit pieces or jelly. Serve.

Chocolate Oats Biscuits

Ingredients:

Oats biscuits           10 pieces
Milk chocolate bar 200 grams
Tutty fruity/ Gems/ Sprinklers

Method:

Melt the chocolate bar in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir it every 30 seconds.
Dip the biscuit in the melted chocolate and garnish it with gems.
Refrigerate it till it sets.
Serve.

Brown Bread Cake

Ingredients:

Brown bread           3 pieces
Cream                     100 grams
Vanilla essence        2-3 drops
Strawberry               4-5 pieces
Icing sugar               4 tbsp
Milk chocolate bar   250 grams

Method:

Cut the sides of the bread.
Then cut the bread in a triangle or square shape.
Cut the strawberry in small pieces.
Mix cream, strawberry pieces, icing sugar and vanilla essence properly.
Take 1st bread and spread the cream mixture on it evenly. Now place the 2nd piece of bread and again spread the layer of cream.
Now take 3rd piece of bread and spread the remaining cream evenly. The top layer should most of the cream.
Now shred the chocolate bar on the topmost layer.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Serve.

Chocolate Biscuit Cake

Ingredients:

Parle – G biscuits/

chocolate biscuits    200 grams
Cocoa Powder          1 tbsp
Sugar                        1 tbsp
Milk                          1/2 cup
Butter                       1 tbsp
Fruit salt                   1 packet

Method:

Crush the biscuits in a mixer and make it into powder form.
Add cocoa powder, sugar, milk and boil it on medium flame till sugar melts.
Melt butter too.
Remove from flame and let it cool.
Add fruit salt.
Take a greased baking plate and pour the mixture.
Preheat oven at 200 degree Celsius, put the baking plate inside and reduce the temperature to 170 degree Celsius. Bake for 10 minutes.
Once it cools remove and serve.
Serve.

Cake Pops

Ingredients:

Chocolate sponge cake     50 grams
Condensed milk                3-4 tbsp
Dark chocolate bar           50 grams
Sprinklers for garnishing
Lollipop sticks/ toothpicks

Method:

Crumble sponge cake in the food processor and empty it into mixing bowl.
Add condensed milk to the crumbs. Mix it properly and form a ball. If it is little dry, add some more condensed milk. It should be just enough to hold shape. Be careful not to add excess condensed milk.
Cover and keep in the freezer for about 1 to 3 hours.
After taking out from freezer prepare coating.
Cut dark chocolate to small pieces and melt it in the microwave.
Dip one end of the stick in melted chocolate and insert gently in the cake balls. Do so for all the balls.
Now dip cake balls in melted chocolates.
Quickly decorate the balls with sprinkles.
Keep it in the fridge to set.
Serve it and enjoy the cake pops.
