H Is For Heart To Heart Chat
I was in no mood to write today’s post due to the sequence of events happening since morning. I am fine but hearing about close family members getting the virus and overall the situation going out of hand became a bit too much for me to handle.
Just when we were getting back to normal, it’s getting worse. I am glad I could make a trip to visit my parents and meet them. But this thoughts of feeling helpless because the situation seems to be beyond the control of mankind is so exhausting.
I tried to write but failed, I didn’t feel at ease. The words didn’t flow. I was going to write about how and when to hit the pause button, but the negative thoughts didn’t seem to pause. It didn’t seem fair to fake writing about something, I am not feeling at the moment because this year I had consciously decided that I will only write about the things that give me joy at the moment.
Maybe because I was true to myself, I received a call from a friend. And while talking to her, I told her, I am feeling better and I know what I am going to write about today.
And that is about picking up the phone to call your that friend or a family member with whom you can bear your heart out. A person who is optimistic and open to a positive conversation. I had a heart to heart conversation and I was feeling much better.
Suddenly, I knew that all was not that bad. We are the human race, we are resilient and we will find out a way to fight. I became more cheerful, shared with her all the wonderful things happening in my life. I was able to see the good and felt grateful for all that I have, most important one being to be able to spend time with my parents after almost 2 years.
Who is that person in your life with whom you can have a heart to heart chat, who just listens to you and makes you joyful? Do share with me.

Glad you had the heart to heart chat that made you feel better, Aesha.
Yes, Mayuri. Pandemic has made me value my relationships a lot.
Heart to heart chat, it certainly helps. Even I had a bad day hearing only the negative news form all over. That’s when you need someone whom you can say anything and share your heart out without any judgments. Glad you felt better, these are difficult times and we need to be strong.
Yes, and our loved ones give us that strength. We need to just be vulnerable and share.
Breathing helps a lot to calm your mind. Nice post dear.
Thank you.
I can totally understand your situation. When you’re feeling sad and low, talking to a friend does help a lot to uplift the mood. I hope you feel lighter than before and bring yourself back to work very soon. Feel free to share your heart with me anytime.
Hope everything gets better soon.
Thats why friends are important. They have the trick to change our mood and show us the brighter side. Gald you wrote today.
